We require a NON-REFUNDABLE
deposit on all cakes, £25
for celebration cakes, £50
for wedding cakes, or the balance in full if below £25.
Payments can be made by card via telephone or in the shop, cash is also accepted.
All order forms need to be checked and signed for at the time of ordering and payment of deposit is required at this stage. Any changes need to be made in writing and may incur an extra charge if more work is involved. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate changes, in some circumstances they may not be possible.
No two cakes will ever be exactly the same, especially those ordered from a photo of another cake decorator’s work.
Any stands or equipment hired must be returned within 3 working days (unless other arrangements have been made prior), any loss or damage will result in loss of deposit to cover costs to replace.
The balance must be paid 2 weeks before for wedding cakes, or on the day of collection for all other cakes.
Iced cakes should not be stored in the fridge, if they are not to be displayed straight away they should be stored in the box supplied in a cool place.
Tiered cakes will be supported with dowels inserted into the cake below and should be removed before serving.
We will try to match colours for ribbons or icing as much as possible.
Please note that allergy free cakes are made in a kitchen where nuts and other allergens are used, although every effort is made to keep these products separate. Allergy information is available upon request.
Your cake must be checked before leaving the premises; we will not accept liability thereafter.
Wedding cakes will be delivered and set up on the day of your wedding unless prior arrangements have been made. They will be photographed once in situ. Any problems are then the venue’s responsibility.
Delivery of wedding cakes is free up to a 10 mile radius of the shop, anything over 10 miles will incur a charge of 50p per mile.
